Day 16: For today’s 30 Days Wild we visited a wildflower meadow at Local Nature Reserve Pickerings Pasture. There were lots of daisies and vipers-bugloss but nothing like the colour scheme when we visited in 2018. I think we need a little bit more sunshine. Perhaps a future visit to this reserve will pay better dividends. For now I’ll leave you with pictures from this year and last.
Do you have a wildflower meadow nearby? What’s your favourite wildflower?
Thanks for reading, and stay wild!

The rain has definitely dampened things. Still looks nice though. Feel bad about it but I’ve kind of given up for this year. I think I have just got to much to think about with starting looking for some work and also…. yikes….we have bought a caravan in the lakes. It’s second hand and based at Melmerby nr Penrith. We get the keys in two weeks. 😀

That’s fantastic news! Im sure you will have lots of wild adventures from there. My 30 Days has been difficult as David has been ill with a virus so Ive had to change a lot of plans. Hopefully he’ll get stronger and we can go on more adventures. Enjoy your caravan xx

Thank you. I intend to. It will be such a great base for us to walk Hugo and discover more of Cumbria. It’s one good thing that has come out of redundancy. X
