Day 28: For today’s 30 Days Wild, David and I, with Riley in tow took a three mile meander around Port Sunlight River Park. The weather was showery, with a light breeze. The sun was warm but not warm enough to coax butterflies from their shelter. On arrival we spotted a kestrel hunting, house martins flew over the lake and we sat and rested while listening to skylarks nesting in the scrub. I even saw a new plant, St John’s Wort which a bumblebee was enjoying.
What’s your favourite place to go nature spotting?
Thanks for reading, and stay wild!

Looks a fab place to explore. 🙂
I quite like a local field near me with a railway bridge. There seems to be lots of wild flowers popping up there every week. 🙂
